Hi families! Do you have a picky eater at home? Here are four strategies that you can try to make mealtimes a more positive experience. First, we like to start with a transition. We're going to come to the sink and wash our hands. Then we're going to make sure that we're all sitting at the table eating together.
So I have a plate, my child has a plate. We want to make sure that we also have a no thank you bowl. This can be really helpful to help ease the transition into having foods that maybe are not their safe foods or preferred foods so that we can engage with it even if we're just touching it or putting it in the bowl.
