Hi families. Do you have a child who you feel like craves movement? Here's some strategies that you can use at home to try to support that. Even if you don't have a fancy sensory swing, you can set up couch cushions where your child can jump from somewhere onto the cushions, or they can lay on the floor and you can give them deep pressure with the cushions.
You can have them do an obstacle course where maybe they're crawling under the table or under chairs. And you can set up somewhere where they can do any kind of jumping or rolling, big activities that are going to cause pressure onto their body. That's going to release serotonin, which is a really calming and organizing chemical.
And so these are great things to help your child feel their best.
