How do you know if your child needs occupational therapy? So what we typically look for is a child who is struggling to get through the day in any way. So that could be feeding themselves or being a picky eater. It could be they're at school and they can't focus and pay attention or they can't write their name or do the fine motor things that are required at school.
If they are struggling at home transitioning and getting through bedtime routines, any routines throughout the day that are difficult that could be sensory based, we can help with that. So I encourage you to come in for a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation if any of these areas are something your child is struggling with and we can determine if your child would benefit from services.
