Emily has been a part of the SmallTalk team since 2020. Before joining SmallTalk, Emily worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a charter school working with children kindergarten through middle school. She has also worked in early intervention with children ages birth-three. She has experience working with and assessing children with expressive and/or receptive language disorders, apraxia, articulation/phonology disorders, stuttering, as well as children with Autism.
Emily earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology from Indiana University, and a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Michigan University. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Emily lives in Bloomfield Hills with her husband and daughter. When she is not working she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.
